1.3 Overview

 RJ-45 Network / PoE - Provides a 10/100 Ethernet connection and can be used to connect

Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) to the camera.

 Main Terminal Block - Provides connections for an alternate camera power input that can be

used to power the camera instead of PoE (on outdoor camera models only). Also provides

connections for the camera’s digital I/O ports and for a DC output voltage. See Section 5.1 on

page 85 for detailed information about the main terminal block.

 RS-485 Terminal Block - Provides a connection for a standard RS-485 port that can be used

to communicate with an external device. See Section 5.2 on page 91 for detailed information

about the RS-485 terminal block.
